Details

gettextize, which is called in autogen.sh, is deprecated in favor of autopoint (which is called by newer versions of autoreconf).

Now, I'm not a fan of autotools to begin with, but autopoint is called in newer versions of the standard autoreconf script, and it does not find the gettext macros it expects to find.
